From a terracet tere is a view of the bay and Le Morne, beautiful sunsets. The lady gave us a canoe and we paddled to the island of Ile aux Benitieres. We were alone on the island, otherwise it is full of tourist boats. Larger store approx. 1 km away, near the restaurant. Strongly recomended.

We recently had the pleasure of staying in a household accommodation at Diane  Artist House home, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment We arrived, We felt like part of the family. The hospitality was exceptional, with the hosts going above and beyond to make use feel comfortable and cared for. The home was spotless and beautifully maintained, with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Our room was spacious and well-equipped. The shared spaces, like the kitchen or living room, were equally inviting and provided a great opportunity to connect with the hosts and other guests. One of the highlights of our stay was the homemade dinner as we were in a Christmas period . Diane and her husband prepared delicious dinner  and it was such a treat to sit down and share a meal together. They also provided great tips on exploring the area .The location was ideal—situated in a peaceful neighborhood but still close to local beaches , transport, restaurants and shops. It was the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. If you’re looking for an authentic, heartwarming experience, I can’t recommend Diane’s home enough. It’s more than just a place to stay—it’s a place where you truly feel at home. We’d love to return someday! Thank you.

Set in Le Morne, 6.9 km from Paradis Golf Club, Résidence au bout du Morne offers beachfront accommodation and various facilities, such as a garden. The property features mountain and garden views, and is less than 1 km from La Prairie Beach. The guest house has family rooms. The host was amazing! Whole family looks after the residence and helps with any needs. The breakfast was stunning and delicious. We couldn't eat all! Room was very spacious and bed is very comfortable. The air condition worked well. There is also parking slot for a car in front of the building. It's quiet close to south attractions.

Lovely room was tastefully decorated, clean and has its own private terrace next to the pool. On top of the building is another terrace with a small pool and amazing views of Le Morne; great for watching sunsets. The owner was quick to respond to our questions and offered tips on what to see and where to eat in the area.

Christoph and Celine were wonderful hosts. Very helpful and agreeable. I feel in the family.

The place is a paradise on earth for nature lovers. My absolute favorite on the island. Iwe just loved the peace, the evening sunsets, the birds, little geckos, crabs around. The room (cabin) is absolutely wonderful with open air shower, the owners and the staff are wonderful. The place is just perfect.

Absolutely clean and very neat and we'll thought of garden and place. Host was absolutely great and friendly Excellent place to rest or explore from Breakfast was excellent Zack was just great in assisting with anything and we were absolutely comfortable and received a great welcome.

Le Gite du Bonheur Guest House & Car Rental also offers free Wi-Fi and free private parking. Great continental breakfast. We liked the family room very much - Nice balcony with mountain view. Clean and comfortable Guest House. By car we were 5 minutes from the beach and all excursions (Hike, dolphin/trips). Ideally located to visit the West of the Island.

Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the guest house free of charge. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a year-round outdoor pool. My husband and I were very happy to stay. If you want to have a luxury experience then this place isn't the place to be for you. It is like a homestay, there's everything you need. The location is really good, the beach and restaurant are walking distance (within 7 min) The hosts are really friendly and helpful. Some reviews said the internet speed is low. But I could work smoothly(I didn't use video or voice call though) We didn't use kitchen for cooking. Gus stove with oven and pots are there. The washing machine isn't attached inside of your room, but it is outside for use. I am sure we will be back here if we come to Mauritius again !
