Incredible homestay. Owner was amazing, wish I stayed longer. Even though I had a short stay he helped me arrange a safari and transportation to multiple sites, negotiated me a good price. Felt like family, had a great dinner together with some arrack :) Rooms were great value, super comfortable bed strong water pressure what more do you need

Fabulous place to stay, with outstanding service, best breakfast, helpful advice and a relaxing calm oasis in the trees. Saman kindly organised a Jeep safari, and a highly recommended cooking class session at a local organic farm. Place was spotless and can see why it’s a top rated place to stay.

Sun Shine Villa was a great spot for us to stay in Sigiriya. Dinesh and his family are very accommodating, and help make your stay memorable. Great location, couple minutes tuk tuk to town and main attractions.

Very good hotel. With good staff and best breakfast and delicious food in restaurant, it’s good because don’t need go anywhere. Have a nice tree house for sunrise or sunsets. Had a small problem with electricity.

The room was very nice and cozy, with a cute balcony and a very nice view into the family garden. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. The free cooking class was also amazing. We learned so much about the traditional foods and culture in Sri Lanka. Wish we could’ve stayed here longer!

This is a stunning place in the heart of Sri Lanka, if you are a traveler, then this is the place for you! You are in a real jungle, you can see animals in the area, in two days we saw peacocks, monitor lizards, a rabbit, deer and even a turtle! However, you are completely safe, no one will bite or eat you, the territory is fenced. Lion Mountain and Pidurangala Mountain are very close, you can meet the sunrise on one, and the sunset on the other.

All the facilities are provided (hot shower, air conditioning etc.) The owner is very kind and available for every request making you feel at home.
