In the afternoon Anushka took us to a nearby monastery to watch the sunset behind the mountains, and to have tea with a local family. The next day we went to visit Ambuluwawa tower before travelling to Negombo. The mud chalet is very clean and tidy, with AC and mosquito nets. Anushka and his family prepared food for us which was very tasty. Overall we had a fantastic time, and staying here was a great start to our trip. Anushka and his family were very helpful when we had some questions, and taught us about the local customs and history

I went with my mother and father and they were thrilled to see the enthusiasm of the host and this was our first day stay after we landed in lanka. truly a great way to start our Sri Lankan Trip. Everything is likable there .. location was away from the hustle.. surrounded by flora and fauna.. Gigantic rooms with the utmost clean and tidiness .. Wide balcony where you can just sit and chill.. From your bed you can see elephants roaming in their enclosure .. Hosts' hospitality is worth mentioning .. and last but not the least 'Home cooked breakfast was mouth watering'.. Highly recommended ...!!!

There is a wall fan if one feels hot. At this time of the year, the temperature at night was nice and cool. 😊 There’s a hot shower which is a nice touch. There is an open treehouse dining area which is nice. 😍 The host, Prashan, was attentive to the guests. He showed me to Boella waterfall which is a Very nice waterfall with several swimming spots. 😍 As it is only a 1 night stay, I could not see the other attractions in Mawanella. I shall be back to see the other attractions. I had lunch and breakfast at Mystay and they were delicious.
