The peace and birdsong. The lady was lovely couldn't do enough to make us comfortable. The roof garden was beautiful only used it once to relax .A adequate balcony to sit our on. Lots of kitchenware to make food if necessary.

By far one of the best homestays I've been to in Sri-Lanka!! There was a perfect balance between your own intimacy yet great hospitality! It was super clean and there's everything you need. Great accomodation very close to the see and the railway station. I stayed in Kalutara an visited Richmond Castle and the Bodhyia (temple) - both very interesting places and worth to visit. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and there is a little beach close to the accomodation for a short swim. Everything was great!
