The gardens and pool are delightful and the food at Panchi restaurant is excellent. The breakfasts, in particular, are delicious and plentiful. Most importantly we were made to feel very welcome and were looked after extremely well. Madura, his family and great team of staff were fabulous hosts. Madura made helpful suggestions for local sights and activities and was always responsive to our queries. We particularly enjoyed visiting the local Turtle Sanctuary, a mindful and ethical way to experience these amazing creatures. The beautiful almost deserted beach can be reached via a short track and, whilst the sea is too rough for swimming, there is a delightful rock pool nearby. At the homestay, the units have bed linen and towels. This is a wonderful guest house, in a quiet location. Close to some nice beaches. If you want more than beaches you will need transport. The guest house do also rent scooters. The family who run the guest house are extremely friendly. I booked initially for 4 nights but extended my stay. Some lovely restaurants within 200 / 300 metres of the property. Excellent value for money. I would highly recommend.

The room was very clean, and the host's hospitality was incredible—super friendly and attentive. She arranged a tour for us for 18,000 LKR, offered us tea in the morning before we left, and kindly assisted and guided us to our next destination. Without a doubt, highly recommended! The bathroom was also clean, and the room was spotless.

Secluded dream beaches within walking distance (though unfortunately very rough at this time of year). Lots of restaurants just a few minutes’ walk away. A true piece of authentic Sri Lanka. By far the best homestay we have stayed in for the past 2 weeks traveling in Sri Lanka. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable, AC rooms and the hospitality of Priya makes it the best! He helped us arrange the safari in Yala, took us bird and crocodile watching in the evening 😊 and picked us up and dropped us at the bus station. Can’t wait to be back, thanks Priya!
