This is hospitality akin to a five star resort. We booked last minute due to our original accommodations having been flooded due to heavy rains. Mr. Ajith waited up for us late at night, welcomed us into his home so we can have a late dinner, and brought us lemon juice straight from his lemon tree. He prepared a delicious multi-course breakfast, helped us with our bags, and communicated with our tuk tuk driver so they knew where we were going. We really felt so special being a guest at the Tide’s Tale and wished we could have stayed longer. The room is simple, but exceptionally clean. Plus the bed was extremely comfortable. Thank you for your hospitality, Mr. Ajith. You’ve warmed our hearts!

The breakfast in the morning was amazing, definitely the best we've had in Sri Lanka at our hotels. Big and delicious! The mosquito net in the room was very nice as well. The family running the guesthouse were also very lovely and helpful. I would absolutely recommend to stay here.

It is set 21 km from Galle Fort and provides a 24-hour front desk. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. It was in the midst of greenery and beauty. But a little far from the beach but with a tuk tuk which the hotel arranged just five minutes. It was one of the most relaxing and best holidays ever. Teh swimming pool was clean rooms and bathrooms were also very clean. We were given something for the mosquitos in the room for the night. It was a eco friendly and sustainable kind of villa. Expect to bring your own toiletries since what they give is basic and which is totally fine. There were wonderful cute cats and kittens which added to the charm of the place. Breakfast was basic but again that's ok since we wanted to go explore other places for lunch and dinner so it's good to keep it light. Fruits were very fresh clean and good. Sankar and the night guard made us feel safe and helpful with all requests. Just loved the stay a bit too much that I am now missing it terribly.
