The architecture is sublime, a little oasis in busy Colombo. The room was spacious, the bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was a lovely design. Communication with Manolji was very easy. Highly recommend!

A nice, quiet place to stay in the Cinnamon Gardens away from the frenetic city center. The rooms are large and bright and the house is lovely. The host is very wonderful and helpful, a delight to talk to. We really enjoyed our stay there. We’d be happy to stay there again on our next trip to Sri Lanka. There is not much to eat around the guest house, it is a quiet residential neighborhood with sports fields and offices and such. It is quite pleasant to walk around. A 200-300 rupee tuk tuk ride will bring you to several places to eat, bank etc. We highly, highly recommend eating at Ran Bath Organic which was recommended to us by the host. The food there is perhaps the best we had in our entire trip. Also, a short walk up Maitland is the Glomark supermarket where you can find a wide range of items, as well as alcohol and a pharmacy. Upstairs is a small food court. The food doesn’t really stand out, but if you don’t want to go very far to get something to eat, that’s the place to go. Skip the laundry at the side, it’s very expensive and very slow.

I stayed here for one night with a local family. I arrived very late, around 2 a.m., but the owner was waiting for me, welcomed me warmly, and helped me settle in, which I really appreciated. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy. Even though I stayed only one night and left early in the morning, I felt very comfortable. I would especially like to mention the kindness and helpfulness of the family who own this place. They are very friendly people and make you feel welcome and at home. Highly recommended if you want to stay with a local family and experience true Sri Lankan hospitality.

Kolombo şehrinde, Bambalapitiya Plajı noktasına 1 km'den az, Bambalapitiya Tren İstasyonu noktasınaysa 1,6 km mesafede yer alan Geoffrey Bawa's Home Number 11 tesisi, teras ve ücretsiz WiFi... It was marvelous to experience Geoffrey Bawa's eyes and soul through this stay. Extremely relaxing and beautiful, through out the space and breakfast. The housekeeper Rohana was surprisingly impressive in his hospitality and professional at touring Bawa's residence. Definitely will visit again!

Kolombo’da Asiri Cerrahi Hastanesi’ne 2,7 km uzaklıkta yer alan Aathma Colombo House bahçeli konaklama birimleriyle hizmet vermektedir. Calisanlar cok samimi ve cok profesyonellerdi. Otelin konumu gol kenarinda dogayla ic ice ve fazlasiyla huzurluydu. Otele ulastiktan sonra yasadigim bir saglik sorunuyla ilgilenme bicimleri ise profesyonelligin otesinde tamamen evlerine gelen bir misafiri aileden birini koruma icgudusunu yansitir gibiydi. Otel sahiplerinin ise bu durumdan haberdar olarak ziyaret etmeleri ve durumumu sormalari da cok nazik bir davranisti. Uzun zamandir yasadigim en iyi deneyimlerden biriydi, her sey icin bir kez daha tesekkur edip bir dahaki sefere daha uzun sure gorusmek dilegiyle :)

Not only is the place gorgeous and well-located, but the service is also excellent. The traditional Sri Lankan breakfast is lovely and plenty. On top of it, the hosts Champi and Sriyantha do go an extra mile to make sure you have a great stay!

Definitely great value for money. The hosts were kind and welcoming, and everything met my expectations. As someone who works online, having a fast and reliable Wi-Fi connection was essential and it didn’t disappoint.

Colombo şehrinin banliyölerinde yer alan 55TG Boutique Suites, 1920'lerden kalma bahçeli, açık çardaklı, oturma odalı ve salonlu iki katlı bir evde otantik bir konaklama deneyimi sunmaktadır. We liked all of it. The location was excellent and we couldn't believe that it was in the middle of Colombo. It was so peaceful and quiet and there seemed to always be a cool breeze blowing through the property. The property itself was lovely and was beautifully designed and decorated. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with all the amenities one could require. We had dinner on our first day and breakfast the following morning. Dinner simply super. We had the cheesy pasta, vegetable spring rolls, mushroom soup and garlic bread. All of it was delicious and so well done. Breakfast the following morning was also great. We had the continental breakfast with the soufflé eggs. The fruit was fresh and soufflé eggs were light and fluffy. Finally, the staff were amazing. They were friendly and helpful right from the get got and we couldn't have asked for better service. Special shout-out to Hashan who helped us with our bags, food and the pool. He was awesome!
