He offered me a juice as soon as i get there and gave me great suggestions on what to do in the area. He also has a tuk tuk and is always willing to drive you around the area (he room me to adam’s Peek in the middle of the night) but is no pushy about it. The food I had was great and the apartment looks pretty new and very clean (european standard, i’d say), tidy and smells good. The area is a bit off the beaten track, but worth a trip (tea plantations all around, lake views, nice locals) and is very easy to reach by bus from Hatton.

We had an amazing stay at RC Awkward. It is a very cute place with a garden on the front and surrounded by greenery. The room was cozy and equipped with all the amenities. The place also has a small balcony with a small table and chairs with a pleasant view. Rajith is a great guy, a talented musician, he was very accommodating and was very helpful. We had a really good breakfast, prepared by his wife I highly recommend his place.
