It has a great location close to the ancient town which makes it very easy to explore it by bike (which is available in the homestay) and 5 minutes away (on foot) from the peaceful lake. One of my best stays in Sri Lanka!

They took such good care of us. The room is simple, yet spacious and clean, as is the bathroom. The bed was big, so very comfortable for my 2 meter long boyfriend ;) You also have a living area with sofas. If you go to Anuradhapura, I would really recommend staying at Corner Cottage!

Clean & super comfortable. Sanjay was a great host. His cooking was fantastic at dinner & breakfast. Organised Lion beer for us which was real +.He arranged for a tuk tuk driver to take us to the ancient city within minutes of our arrival. In addition a taxi next day to our next stop off. As per usual in Sri Lanka always a smile & such friendliness. Overall great stop off guest house. You wont be disapointed.

Jeewa provided great recommendations for things to do in the area, helped organise transport, and even took me on a day trip to Pidurangala and Dambulla in his tuk tuk. The home-cooked meals by Masha were absolutely delicious — a perfect introduction to Sri Lankan cuisine. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Jeewa and Masha truly went above and beyond to take care of their guests. I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Habarana and the surrounding area.
