Regarding trips (Mihintale, Old City Anuradhapura, or Wilpattu Safari), everything was always planned and the price was very reasonable. We recommend it 100% to everyone and will be back someday!

Overall, I would highly recommend to stay here. It is also possible to organize a safari trip. The price seems fair, and the driver will pick you up directly from the house. I was very satisfied with how well it was organized.

Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the guest house free of charge. The guest house features family rooms. We had an amazing experience in Wikpattu Mooklan Resort! The owner and his son were taking care of us all the time and organized a great safari! It was a full day trip at a very affordable price, We managed to see 3 leopards, bear, elefant, crocodiles, tones of deers, and many, many other species of mammals, reptiles and birds. At night we could hear a lot of animals and it was an extremely peaceful time. The food was delicious and made with love. Absolutely recommended place!

The view on the nearby wetlands is absolutely stunning and can be fully enjoyed from a little tree house (where breakfast/dinner can be served). The owner is willing to drive you to every nearby major attraction (Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, jeep safari,…etc) and able to make bookings at affordable prices (e.g. a jeep safari is significantly cheaper if you let him do the booking) and has lots of interesting, lesser known suggestions to visit. In addition, his wife makes delicious local breakfast, dinner and drinks at very cheap prices. Heavily recommended!

The owner and his right hand Shiran who were just amazing and will say yes to everything you need! Amazing people! Got lemon juice and the most yummy sugar lemon roti for welcome drinks, they made us feel at home. The location was perfect, out of the hustle and bustle of the town and close enough to be close to all the attractions. Nice big room, comfy bed, hot water (hot /cold water in different pipes) but you can shower with only the hot. Clean and really just perfect. Stay here!

At the homestay, units come with bed linen and towels. - bed is really comfy and accommodation super clean - hot shower !!! - warm welcome from the family - Sheeva helps to organise all the activities as the place is strategically based in the center of the cultural triangle of Sri Lanka : safari for elephants, sunset and sunrise at lion rocks and Pidurangala rock but also reply to a lot of requests that is really nice (example: he told me how to get to his place by local bus so I could avoid paying a lot in taxi as a solo young traveller it’s really nice) - quite area - interesting discussion with the owner to learn about Sri Lanka story - food available (but I would recommend to check price in advance just to know what you are going to pay) - host organised for me an Ayurvedic treatment that was so good - good quality for the services provided compared to the price paid
