There is a beautiful chill area with a hammock that is perfect for reading. Neighbourhood is nice, not gentrified compared to other places on the island. Amazing host that helps with everything and gives recommendations.

Every morning the owner made me a great coffee, and in the evenings his wife prepared the best vegetable soup. For exploring the island, it’s ideal to rent a scooter — you can do so right upon arrival at Longset Pier, and if you don’t have too much luggage, you can head straight to the guesthouse. Overall, I truly recommend this place

Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a water park. The accommodation features a business centre, room service and currency exchange for guests. Amazing place located in a very quiet area of the island immersed in the local community. I really liked the bungalows right above the water. The Cottages are simple but don't lack amenities like power and shower. the beds are very nice too. You can use the kayak to go into the mangroves free of charge. Again, very comfortable quiet and wholesome.

The place is a bit difficult to find, once found, it's easy to just stay there. The host Johnny is also very helpful with arranging scooters or anything else.

He managed to help us in all things that we needed on the remote Island. Wow. This was amazing place with great host. At the homestay, every unit has bed linen and towels. We absolutely loved our time on koh rong sanloem and at Sam’s guesthouse. She was absolutely amazing and helped us with anything we needed. She gave us loads of information about the island, recommended places which were good to eat and any events that were happening and she was always up for a chat. We wanted to stay an extra night as we loved it and she happily accommodated us at a discounted price which was fab! The room was lovely, and perfect for what we needed for a few nights. The rooms do get quite hot obviously but there is a fan. It’s in such a good location too, a couple minute walk to the beach and lots of bars and restaurants around. If you’re thinking of staying on koh rong sanloem I would highly recommend here! The island does experience some power cuts but they didn’t last long at all and weren’t an inconvenience for us, but it’s not any of the hotel/guesthouses fault so don’t blame them for it.
