Friend of Nature Bungalow is a recently renovated guest house in Koh Rong Island, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a water park. The accommodation features a business centre, room service and currency exchange for guests. The host, Johnny, was extremely helpful. He arranged for us to be picked up from the pier and then driven back there for our return trip. He also borrowed us a kayak and snorkeling masks for free. The experience was unique, just staying with the local people in the village on the river. Very basic, but everything you need. The place is 45 mins walking distance to Lonely Beach, but there is also a local beach, Palm Beach, close by, and we recommend that one, as hardly anyone visits it. There are many good food options around, as well as shops. There is also a cooking stove on the porch, and unlimited potable water.

The place is a bit difficult to find, once found, it's easy to just stay there. The host Johnny is also very helpful with arranging scooters or anything else.

Rooms include a patio with garden views. We had very nice stay at Blondies. Bungalow was very clean and have good facilities. John is very nice man and he is also very helpful and give you lots of good advice. There is no WiFi which is good escape from Internet and social media but if you need to be connected buy Cellcard it working well. Beach is walkable.

The moment it set a foot on M‘Pai Bay I decided that I would like to stay longer. Sam made it happen ♥️ she’s such a great host! Always helping you out and gives you a lot of information about what’s going on on the island, where to eat, where to chill etc. she always took care of me and was checking if everything is ok. Thanks Sam!♥️ The room has everything you need for an unforgettable stay. The perks of traveling is that you meet great people and great places. But the downside is that you have to say goodbye to them ♥️

Boasting garden views, Macondo Mpai bay features accommodation with terrace, around 200 metres from M’Pai Bay Beach. It is situated less than 1 km from M’Pai Bay Wild Beach and offers luggage storage space. The rooms are fitted with a patio with views of the quiet street. Great value for the price, thanks for offering an affordable place in this paradise! Shared bathrooms were clean. Might be a bit louder in the late evening/early night but they provide good earplugs. Dumplings and sandwiches in the restaurant are great as well. Bed with mosquito net worked well. Good fan. I think staying on the upper level is better :)
