Dolcelina is a truly special and family-run place — I was welcomed with such warmth by Lia, her daughter, and her husband. From the very start, they were incredibly kind, attentive, and eager to help with every little detail so I could enjoy a peaceful and carefree stay in Lampedusa. The island itself is stunning and, as a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe the entire time. The local bus service runs smoothly, making it easy to reach even the more distant beaches like the famous Rabbit Beach. It runs every hour from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., which makes exploring the island both simple and stress-free.

Feeling is that this simply is a unique place in Lampedusa. If you are looking for something chilled, elegant, super clean, cosy and with that touch of Sicilian warmth this is a must be/live/see. Perfect location at just 5 mins from the city center. Everything felt much better than we were looking for. By my honest opinion it also comes at -20/30% pricing compared to the island’s alternatives - strong suggestion is to book it as soon as possible, as the demands may soon spike and lead to a comprehensibly higher pricing. Both Umberto and Diego were incredible hosts who made us feel at home from the very first to the last moment and in a very special way. Thanks again for that memorable stay. 🙏🏻🌅

Good location and a decent stay overall. We had minimal contact with the staff, the breakfast was nice. Nothing outstanding, but it worked fine for a short visit.

Alberto is amazing! He was super welcoming and kind, helped me with everything, which as I solo traveller I really appreciated. I would definitely come back and recomment it! Also, the residence is 5min away from the port where we take the boats to the tour and 5min away from the most popular restaurants too.

The common kitchen is a big plus, you can reheat your food, cooking, having a nice moka of coffe in the morning. Moreover, a well supplied supermarket is close by so no need to worry about groceries and diaries. Location: even though the Dammuso is outside the main village that's not really a big issue. The Dammuso is also strategically close to the northern route and to the creeks on the east side of the island (we rented a moped but that's probably the best option in general, even if one decides to sleep in the village centre). Rental and boat trips: the ones suggested by the host were both great, I would recommend them. Lastly, the airport transfer was easily agreed and free of charge.
