The host is incredibly helpful, we checked in late and he gave me a very detailed instructions to let us in and it was very smooth, and we also checked out early which is also no problem. The view is amazing, you can see the main church thru the balcony especially at night. We had a short stay but a memorable one.

Casa Blanca Matera offers accommodation in Matera, at walking distance from the Sassi di Matera area, a UNESCO World Heritage site. WiFi is free throughout. Nicola was a great host, friendly, gave us key tips on how to explore Matera. Breakfast is amazing! Location also great! We found parking a few meters from the front door.

Giuseppe was so helpful and accommodating. Although it was a 20 minute walk from the centre, it was a lovely walk and was perfect when we had the car.

Set in a restored Tuff-stone building, Hydria Rooms is a guest house located in Matera, 60 metres from Sasso Barisano. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property. Luxury room with bathtub in the room. Perfect lighting in the room, bathtub and bathroom! It has a door/window even though the room is in a renovated old house. Very easy entering the room- both electronic and keys. Complementary coffee, tea, water and cleaning everyday. The reality is better than in the pictures
