Lovely, comfortable guest house in a beautiful town on the Eastfjords. We went in November so the weather was a little wild, but the road to the town was clear. The town is full of beautiful art, gorgeous scenery, and nature! The room was great!

Set in a peaceful, natural setting, Eyjólfsstaðir Guesthouse is just a 10-minute drive from Egilsstaðir and the local airport. Immaculately clean, well organized, super cute. Room was spacious and the common areas and their features were a delight. Don’t miss out on the walking path behind the guesthouse, it is so lovely!! Breakfast was amazing with lots of housemade items.

The area is very quiet and the room we stayed in had a spectacular view (we were lucky to watch the best Aurora from our bed 😀).The breakfast was delicious with a good coffee as well. We really recommend to stay here.
