Small amenities such as complimentary snacks & water really added to the excellent hospitality. At the end of a long day it was lovely sitting on the roof terrace with a view of the fort. No request was too much for AJ & his family.

Staying here was an unforgettable experience because of the host. He is so warm, kind, and genuinely caring that it felt like visiting a close friend rather than staying in a hotel. From the moment I arrived, he helped with everything and made sure I felt completely comfortable. He is also an amazing chef — the food he prepares on the rooftop café is absolutely delicious and made with so much love. My only regret is that I couldn’t try the Indian wine that Gaurav, our perfect chef and friend, recommended. This place has a special soul because of him. I would come back just for the host alone. Highly, highly recommended!

The staff were always nice, responsive and helpful especially Raju and Khan, the tuk tuk driver. Made my stay comfortable and very memorable. The food, even though only veg, was very good and affordable. Will stay again and highly recommended. My best wishes.

Communication with the property was excellent from the beginning: owner advertised all the services available through the hotel such as tours and transport organizing. Excellent directions to the property, spacious, clean and modern room with A/C and fridge, large clean modern bathroom, meals are available - home cooked delicious meals available (lacto-vegetarian), amazing view from the rooftop terrace of the Fort, professional and friendly service and accommodating.

The homestay specialises in a continental and Full English/Irish breakfast and breakfast in the room is also available. The restaurant at Madan Mohan Villas (A Haritage Haveli Home Stay) serves Chinese cuisine, and is open for dinner and lunch. Dining options are available close to the accommodation. Easy 10/10 for me. Very comfortable room, tasty generous breakfast, good location, very friendly hosts, excellent value for money. I’d have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone
