It was around 45 minutes (by bus) south of Munnar, in a peaceful natural area. The room was comfortable, and it was nice having our own balcony in addition to the shared terrace. However, we loved spending time on the terrace and meeting fellow travellers. We enjoyed all of our meals there, and loved that there was some kitchen amenities so you could make your own coffee & tea. The family were very kind and hospitable, and we enjoyed hanging out with Jaan, their youngest son. Jaan took us to a local swim spot which was wonderful. If you're looking for a local experience, and spending time in nature away from the main tourist spots, this is a great place to stay.

The view from the guest house on the forest is really nice. They also propose activities like trekking etc. Breakfast and evening food is great as well. I recommend it !

Location was beautiful. Quality of the room was very high. Abin, the owner, was available on whatsapp with very good practical advice. The units include a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. The room is clean and has a beautiful mountain view, it makes us super comfortable and relaxing here. The hosts are very nice and prepare delicious breakfast for us. We enjoyed a great stay at Green Tea View, definitely recommend it.

We stayed two nights at George’s house, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice: the room was beautiful, very comfortable, and had an amazing view of Kerala’s nature. George and his family welcomed us as if we were old friends, offering plenty of advice, recommendations, and attention. If you are planning to visit Munnar, this is the right choice.

It is family run place, and Joe, the patriarch, owner and host is always present; knows the area well as his family is from there; is knowledgeable and engaged culturally; and is otherwise a great conversation partner! I highly recommend eating as much fruit as possible while there - grown on the property and in a garden down the hill. I would absolutely stay again.

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The room was super clean, had a fan and an ac with private bathroom and fresh bed sheets. We also had access to an outdoor kitchen that comes with a stove and a dinning table with a beautiful private view on nature. The hosts were very accommodating and responded to all our requests. I used their fridge to store some of our food, they treated us with coconut milk and coconut water. We also got our laundry done for a small fee. The location is private but also very close to the bus stop and rickchaws.
