It felt as family since we arrived! The place is quite isolated but it gives you the chance to stay in nature and the view is absolutely amazing to see sunrise on Rinjani mountain. It gives you the possibility to live in a camping but in a cleaner and nicer location. In our case, the bathroom was outside the room a few meters away, but there was hot water to enjoy a shower in nature! Breakfast was included and delicious. They organise a lot of activities together with the guests: we hiked the Kondo hill together with one of them and before going they took us to see the sorroundings by scooter and to have lunch together. They also organise activities for the local people to teach English and to promote a tourism oriented to sustainability. Finally they have a fantastic rescued dog Bruni which is lovely and will be happy to play with you if you like it!

The homestay definitely exceeded our expectations. Beautiful clean accommodation among the rice fields. We recommend it if you want to support the locals and like authentic experiences. The staff was extremely nice, friendly and respectful. The owners are nice local people and they were very welcoming and accomodating. Couldn't find a money changer nearby and they took us to one in the rain and they were very sweet about it. Don't get me started on the view, it was breathtaking and waking up to it everyday + the sounds of nature was such a peaceful experience. The area is clearly a wild area and they did a super great job at maintaining it and turning the bungalow and its surroundings livable. The place smelled nice and was free of insects (we could hear a gecko at night but it was outside so we weren't worried). The lady brought us food right to our room, and we would just order via WhatsApp. If you're thinking of a nice getaway where you'll feel nothing but peace and harmony and pure joy, go for it and please stay for at least 2 to 3 nights (you can visit nearby waterfalls and plantations and rice fields).

Really beautiful place with the most amazing view over the rice fields. The staff was beyond. They were all so nice and accommodating, offered us a free welcome drink (even our friend that didn’t stay there), coffee/tea throughout our stay, recommendations for places to see and even took me to get my flat tire fixed for free! Haha They even made me vegan pancakes for breakfast. It’s also at a very good location next to other rice fields, monkey forest and a few waterfalls. There’s also a few warungs nearby, one of them (monkey forest warung) owned by the Serenity owners. We really loved it here. Thank you

the couple running it was soooo friendly. the wife Nip made amazing food, breakfast and dinner. the husband Awan is so nice and helped us get bike rentals and shared his local rice wine with us. they shared stories of local traditions with us which was super cool. the location is soooo nice. it’s not far from the main road to the waterfalls and is secluded and is like a paradise in the rice fields and jungle. you can see the volcano summit from your balcony. they also run walking tours and can take you on a panorama walk nearby the property and to local waterfalls and sunset spots. I can’t wait to come back.

Avocado Homestay is a little gem. It’s still pretty new. The outside area is really nice. Beds are comfy. It has huge potential to be a very special place! Went for a sunset walk with the staff around the village and fields. +the avocados taste yummy. For dinner we went to his uncles place. So support this new homestay and create something beautiful
