Although the homestay is located a bit outside of the center, it’s quiet and peaceful — and the value for money is absolutely amazing. For a newly opened place, everything was well thought out and we couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a warm, affordable, and authentic experience!

The food was delicious and great value. The facilities are brand new, stunning, and set in an unreal natural environment with a cozy, zen vibe. It’s surrounded by fields and mountains. We highly recommend staying more than just for Bromo — 2–3 nights or more if you enjoy peaceful nature, waterfalls and a bit of adventure.

The room was super comfortable, clean, and spacious. Mary was kind and professional. She helped me book a Bromo tour and organise a driver back to Malang.

This homestay offers free private parking and full-day security. Great host, who told us everything we wanted/ needed to know. He gave us heaps of tips and made our stay very comfortable. There are also many Cafes, a supermarket and restaurants nearby.

The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. Feels like a luxury bungalow with a homestay vibe and price. 3~5 minute walk to the beach. Soft bed and linens, fresh flowers around the room, clean and well appointed. But the staff was a real bonus. So friendly and so helpful. I left an important charger there, and she went out of her way to message me and have delivery arranged to my next hotel. Extremely kind. Highly recommend.

Staying at this accomodation was a highlight of my trip.  Hadi, the owner, and his family were so welcoming and helpful with the stay and figuring out the train for when I left. They made delicious food and we even got to try fresh lobster.  Ocha was our guide for the trip to Sukamade beach who, along with the park rangers, taught my group about the turtles at the conservation area and the jungle. She was knowledgable, supportive and outgoing. She was always checking in, making sure we were comfortable and answering questions. Indra and Dimas picked me up and dropped me off at the train station. As I was early for the train, Indra took me to his home to meet his family and enjoy fresh fruit and Indonesian treats. It was an excellent experience with empty beaches and wonderful people. I hope to have the chance to come back someday.

The family who run Mocca are amazing they booked our trip to Mount Ijen, picked us up from the train station and organised our transport to Denpasar airport in Bali. The rooms are very big with a comfy big bed and a really nice modern bathroom. The breakfast is also great and they even made us a packed breakfast to take with us when we had to leave at 4am for the airport. Cannot recommend this place enough!!! 😊

Jude is really nice and helpful, got us a guided tour for Ijen and helped us get around.

Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, full-day security and currency exchange for guests. I loved our (short) stay. The room was simple but with a cool vibe and clean. We had private bathroom and AC. No hot shower but it was ok. The owner was extremely nice and helpful. She spoke great English, helped with our onward trip to Bali and answered all our questions. We also took a shared trip to Ijen which was great (small group, good guide, all nicely organized and good price). They were so nice that they returned money when one of us had to cancel last minute. We also got great breakfast in the morning (egg sandwich, fresh fruits, coffee and a cake). Would totally recommend this place
