We definately recommend this place especially because of the amazing hosts who made us feel more than welcome.

The owner and his wife are very nice and friendly (they are supposed to taking a break for winter).

Only a 15-minute walk from Plitvice Lakes in Mukinje, the traditionally built Villa Knezevic-completely renovated 2025 offers authentic Lika-style accommodation made from stone and wood. Free WiFi is available and free parking is provided. It was close to the entrance 2 to Plitvice Park, it had all the amenities we needed and we had a good sleep there. The people there were very nice to us and we had a lovely time.

The design was awesome, the stuff was helpful. They even prepared some crepes for us as a dessert! The apartment has everything you may need. It's spacious and clean. The location is about 14 km away from the lakes.

Good advice from hosts. The bus stop is 6 mins walk away. Note, bring shampoo and tea with you. There's a kettle and cups in the room, but no tea.
