Hosts were increadibly helpful and kind. They also have a restaurant with great food and prices and bike rental possibilty, probably best prices on the whole island. Parking in front of the apartments always reserved for guests. Our apartment offered a great view of the clear sea. Clean with all the necessary stuff for a short stay. Simply, everyhting you need for Mljet at one place :)

The bed was comfortable, and we even got small welcome chocolates.

The property is non-smoking and is situated 2.9 km from Prožurska Luka Beach. - First of all the host, Belin, is a very cute and gentle man: the first day we arrived, weather wasn't good, but he permitted us to use the apartment near our room (it was free) to use kitchen and to have more space for us. - Both from the room and the apartment you can see the bay! - The place is FANTASTIC: Okunlje Bay is a paradise, not so much people, beautiful water (i saw 4-5 red stars by snorkelling!!) and color inside nature. - We have a private place near the sea, with beach beds and chairs and there is private parking place for a small car. - Inside the room, there are a fridge, a kettle and some kitchen stuff, some fresh fruits and 2 bottles of water!! - In the village, there are 3 restaurants and a mini-market.

Our hosts, Pave and Pero, were incredibly kind and welcoming, they truly went above and beyond to make us feel at home. From making sure the apartment was perfectly prepared for our stay to introducing us to the authentic local lifestyle, they made our trip unforgettable. They resolved every minor issue we had during our stay very quickly. The apartment itself was spotless and very well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare dinner for five people. You can also use the barbecue in the garden to cook and enjoy meals outside. They even treated us to their amazing homemade olive oil and pelin (a delicious local alcoholic drink). The biggest plus is the location, the apartment is only a few minutes by car from the sea, and the famous Odysseus’ Cave is nearby.

Located in the heart of Mljet National Park, Guesthouse Pomena is surrounded by sea and nature and set in a quiet area without traffic. There is a bar and restaurant on site, while a spacious shared terrace with a seating area is available for all guests. Free Wi-Fi and free parking are provided. Everything! Excellent location - especially if you’re carrying heavy bags - as it’s right by the port, and also less than 5mins walk to the entrance of the National Park (which is a must!!). The room was spacious and clean. The Restaurant Pomena (where you check in) has very tasty, freshly made food, and they give you a 10% discount if you’re staying in the guesthouse so it makes it more economical than the rest of the restaurants. Payment at the guesthouse is cash only, but at the restaurant they take card. They kindly let me leave my bags at the restaurant the checkout day whilst I waited for the afternoon ferry. 5mins walk to the harbour pool area - which has free decking chairs! Great place to spend a few hours in wait! They also kindly provided me with some hot water for my thermos flask in the mornings for which I was extremely grateful (as no kitchen and no kettle in the room as mentioned in many reviews).
