We drove to Monodendri in the mornings (about 5 minutes) for coffee. As we knew the area, we shopped at the supermarket in Asfaka before arriving at the accomodation, so we could always have breakfast - as we had read the description on Booking, we took plates and cutlery with us. We were on the road all day and it was always nice to arrive at the accomodation. One of us had a cold from the car air conditioning one day and our host turned on the heating at our request during the night without a word and brought tea - we are very grateful for this, we have never had such kindness on our travels. I highly recommend this accommodation!

"Morfeas" is a historical building, kind of a monument. Yota, the owner and manager of the guest house is very friendly and is willing to say the story of her family and to explain every little detail that we see around us. The little gardens with the local fruits and vegetables are made with so much love! Breakfast was great and many things were homemade by Yota. Such a great hospitality! The room was clean and nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. We had a great sleep. Yota welcomed us with a piece of local pie and a homemade fruit salad. So cute and kind!

I'm sure it looks suspicious that our review is 10, but this stay was perfect. We stayed there outside the peak season. The room was beautiful, comfy, clean and quiet. The hotel compound was closed, and the compound itslef is very beautiful as it's built from stones as a characteristic village. Before going to sleep, we used the fireplace for a small romantic cheese and wine dinner. The view from the window in the morning was great. The staff is very nice and helpful. The nice lady at the reception was also available by WhatsApp for everything we needed, even at unusual hours. They made us feel very comfortable. The breakfast was nice and reach. We were served more than we could eat, and the meal was waited especially for us in the dining room. If we revisit the area, we will definitely come back!
