Beautifully renovated neoclassical house in the heart of the city. The room was big, heating worked like a charm, the bathroom was super nice and it had a few commodities extra, such as kettle, tea and coffee. Manager was kind enough to remove his own vehicle so we could park, which I greatly appreciated.

The room was very clean, all necessary amenities were provided and the view from the corner bedroom was breathtaking upon waking in the morning! Located in the town of Kastoria, Filoxenia offers elegantly appointed rooms with balconies enjoying panoramic views of the city and the lake. The Byzantine Museum lies within a short walk. Wonderful place. Quiet, scenic. Host was wonderful and the breakfast was great! Could have stayed here a couple of weeks...no months if only we had the time. Beds were a little harder then we are used to but we are old softies anyway.
