After showing us to our beautiful room and explaining how to get inside should we be late returning from our evening celebration they checked we were having breakfast the following morning and booked a taxi to collect us that evening. We had a lovely chat with them and heard about what they had done since taking over the property a year ago. It felt so comfortable and friendly, having a couple of drinks in the bar with the locals, prior to going out. Breakfast was ample and beautifully cooked. And to cap it all………when we arrived home I realised we had forgotten to empty a couple of drawers. John the owner kindly arranged for the items to be sent on to us . We will definitely be returning. She went above and beyond! The room was clean, and the bed was amazing. I slept better than at home!! The place was very quiet, which I valued more than I thought I would. Close to the bus and train station, I had no problem travelling to cities nearby and trying out the local food. I left feeling so happy and well looked after.
