At the homestay, all units have bed linen and towels. Lisa is super sympa! The room is very clean and nice. She gives very good recommandations of restaurants that we tried in the morning ( a full English breakfast buffet of only around 5 pounds) and very good recommandation on of visit sites next door. We went to the small stone circle which is cheaper and less tourists. Lisa also mailed me the clothes I left at her house. I strongly recommend this place.

The 4-star bed and breakfast is only 3 miles from Bath, which is famous for The Roman Baths, The Royal Crescent, Bath Abbey and Pultney Bridge. Just outstanding. I would not hesitate to stay again or recommend. So friendly and the customer service exceptional. There was a plumbing issue that was totally out of the host's control, just one of those things, but they couldn't do enough to make it right. The room itself is very spacious and comfortable. The shower was amazing (they rigged up a DIY fix for a time in the morning for us). Breakfast delicious, varied and huge. There really isn't anything I can think of not to like. Book it. You won't regret it.

Chestnuts House has a wonderful location from which to enjoy the historic city of Bath. The house is situated off the main roads and next to Henrietta Park, but it is just a short, level stroll from the city centre, with its many attractions, restaurants and excellent shopping centre. Quiet location close to Pulteney bridge and city centre. Clean room, good bed, delicious breakfast. Airconditioning was appreciated in the hot weather.

Loved the garden with the little stream at the bottom, lady owner was lovely, very helpful, told us where we could get food. Also didn't know it was where the nursery rhyme Jack and Jill came from, so we walked up their hill and found the well. Beautiful village.
