A family business run by a lovely family, whose breakfast downstairs you don't want to miss. All in all the services and amenities were all up to par and more. It gave Blanes a little place in my heart.

All rooms have a private bathroom equipped with a bath or shower. Towels are provided. The room was very pretty, clean, more spacious than we expected and it had air-conditioning. The staff was very lovely and helpful, they were very kind and their English was really good. The location was perfect as well - the hotel is right by the beach, surrounded by many great restaurants and very close to the castle. We really liked the optional breakfast as well - it was delicious, quite cheap and right on time. You could also leave your luggage there before check-in and after check-out if needed, get discounts for the boats, beach umbrellas and recommendations for restaurants and bars. We had a perfect stay, especially considering the low price. We definitely recommend Hostal del Mar and hope to be back soon. Thank you to the staff for having us!

Great hotel with great facilities. Came for a wedding nearby. The host spoke very little English but that did not stop us having long conversations. He was even kind enough to give us a lift to the venue 5 mins down the road. The hotel has a great football pitch, pool, basketball court as table tennis area and a very friendly robot lawnmower. Would recommend to friends and family.
