Friendly and helpful staff at check-in and check-out, which is much better than places that have no staff at all, and rely on impersonal on-line communication and remote access to the premises. Loved the breakfast, which was included and served in a small, attractive dining room, with an attentive waiter on hand to make coffee and serve us. Appreciated the staff arranging a taxi to the airport, and another carrying our bags downstairs when the taxi arrived Beautiful spacious room in a grand old building, comfortable bed, air conditioning, luxurious shower room, lots of closet and storage space, view from the port-fenetres, quiet at night. We will return!!

Situated in the L'Eixample neighbourhood of Barcelona, Hostal Aslyp 114 offers free WiFi and features a shared lounge with flat-screen TV and satellite channels. Plaza Catalunya is 2.8 km away. Anna was an incredible hostess. From the time we arrived, she made us feel at home. She explained how we could get to all of the sights of interest and, knowing the type of croissants we enjoyed most for breakfast, she made sure they were on our table. The continental breakfast was very good with plenty to choose from. The room was a little on the small side but it was clean and we had everything we needed. The curtains totally "blacked out" any lighting or street noise which was nice. We slept well! The location was great and we could walk to everything. The property also has an elevator which was a real bonus. Lots of restaurants in the area and a very nice supermarket on the corner of the street. We enjoyed this property very much.

Hostal Olga is located on the Costa Brava seafront in Sant Antoni de Calonge. Rooms with a private balcony and sea views. The rooms at the Olga feature simple décor. Very clean and chic. Staff were extremely warm and welcoming. Great restaurant. On the beach!

Pension Ciudadela guest house is opposite Barcelona’s França Train Station and 100 metres from Ciudadela Park. It offers basic air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, and private bathroom facilities. Stuff was very helpful. They gave us little present about new year. The property was well equipped and perfect location.Starting day with coffee at terrace is quite impressive

Our hosts were wonderful and very genuine, and very kind people :) The premises itself is so unique, and was very REAL. It is not often you can stay in a 2000 year old building. Highly recommend if authentic is your thing :)
