Wonderful place to stay, centrally located on a leafy, elegant street, a few minutes from the beach. Bakery and supermarket next door. Staff were lovely and welcoming with many suggestions/tips and room was very comfortable. Perfect for a solo traveller extending their stay to sight-see after a work conference.

What a beautiful place with very kind owners. We felt very welcome and at home and that was not only because the host also speaks Dutch (Vlaams) but because of the warm welcome and the whole atmosphere, nice comfortable rooms, quiet surroundings.

The room and facilities were spotlessly clean. It was newly renovated and felt like staying in a luxury room in someone's house. The cake and coffee was a lovely addition. Whilst the location was not central it was a very easy bus ride from central barcelona. The location was quiet and residential. Victor made the check in very easy.

Mendi Azpi Rooms are close to the centre of Mutriku, everything you need is in short walking distance. From the room you can step directly into a nice garden which is right by the road but that is no prob as it does not disturb at all. The room itself was fantastic, very comfy and immaculate. Sleeping quality was excellent. You can use a small coffee maker and a microwave (in which you can prepare yourself a delicious ready-made tortilla, bought from one of the shops in town).

Fernando is a perfect host. Location near train to city. Parking secure but costs 8 euro extra inside gates of property. Train to Gernika also. GPS works for Galdakao. Enter street address without number. WiFi excellent. Host only speaks Spanish. Thank God for Google translate. Large yard with petting zoo. You better like dogs, cats, roosters, and a rabbit. Get the drift?

Can recommend this place enough. We are walking the Camino Norte and it was just the lovely rest we needed. Was such a tranquil setting, so quiet, just the birds singing. Joana was so lovely, the suites were so beautiful & clean, plenty of room.
