The property has mountain and river views, and is 7.6 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum. The guest house features family rooms. My wife and I stayed two nights in this beautiful hotel and wished we would have stayed longer. The hotel owner (Tamer) and his nephew (Mo) made us feel at home, helping us organising trips at very fair prices and preparing delicious breakfast and dinner every day. The hotel is located in a Nubian village, on the West Bank of the Nile. You can get there very easily for 10 EGP per person with the public ferry. The atmosphere in the hotel and the village is very relaxed, which we absolutely loved after coming from very busy cities like Cairo and Alexandria. One of our highlights was the morning run + swim in the Nile that we did with Mo, who showed us the best spots in the village and in Aswan. We will definitely come back to visit these guys who became our family for some days

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. They gave me plenty of recommendations and did not overcharge for water (like many hostels and hotels do). The area felt safe as staff as well as locals from the village would assist if need be.
The host is super nice and helpful. The property is clean, lovely and family friendly. The host family lives upstairs and gave us a welcome at the front door and showed us the rooms. We had the entire ground floor including a living room, three bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. The included breakfast was simple but sufficient.
Bassam was a great host, no pressure or hassle like so common in Egypt; booked several tours for us at a fair price. The upstairs terrace was lovely, even though it was hot.
I’m convinced this is the best place to stay in Aswan. It might be a little bit hard to find in the island, but there were locals who kindly showed me the way upon my arrival. There’s a beautiful garden, the staff is friendly and the room is very nice. The breakfast they serve is superb and you can also buy water and soda’s for a good price instead of having to go to a shop. Extra points for having the goodest dog in Aswan.
The location is very beautiful, and it’s set up right next to a local restaurant/cafe where lots of locals come which makes it very authentic. It’s also all very new and modern!
This accommodation is perfect for relaxing and spending quality time on the banks of the river. The attention from the staff was very good, all very helpful and hospitable. We would have liked to stay longer in the accommodation. It has its own restaurant. It has breakfast service and it is very complete. Mahmoud was a great host and helped us with everything we needed.
What a great find ! I booked a Nile view room , perfect view ! , it was perfect for my needs ! It had a fridge that worked very well , and a great shower ! The place was very clean . Mahmoud was a great host , not in your face, but there to answer any questions you have . Exactly as It should be !
Fantastic, lovely hosts and great location. Made to feel very welcome. Would recommend for sure.
The experience is unmatched. First homestay and very memorable. Family friendly atmosphere. Comfy room and bathrooms. Trip along the Nile to Philae Temple. Eating dinner together was special. Really tasty food. Relaxing in the evening and listening to locals play music. Being able to absorb the Nubian culture was special.
Bassam was a great host. The effort he has put into the roof area was really amazing, such a nice space to hang out and chat with him and other travellers. Showers were hot, AC was great. It was nice to stay on the West Bank and use the ferry over to the main city on the East Bank with all the locals. Very cheap and easy, but is something to be aware of. Great WiFi in the rooftop area, plenty of spaces there to chill out.
