It was a fantastic experience, getting to know Lina and Victor up close, we were welcomed like family. We felt at home. Lina and Victor's friendliness is always available to help, provide information about the island, the best restaurants and places to visit. Victor took us for a walk around the island, he was our guide. Some fantastic people. The couple's children were also very friendly. We will definitely have to go back on vacation

Orietta Residencial is located in the centre of Mindelo, close to the ferry, the beach and restaurants. The rooms are in a nice building, everything well maintained and it has a cosy atmosphere. The owner is super friendly, helpfull and I enjoyed a great breakfast with fresh produce every morning. Even car rental was taken care of. Host - Jean Pierre - is the winning lottery ticket! Location, rooms, terrace on the top... everything was great. Delicious breakfast (and also dinner) is a big plus. We really enjoyed the atmosphere during the meals. This place definitely has a charm - we had a feeling that we come to a visit of an old friend. Maybe I will start learning French to be able to have a live chat with JP next time - without google translate :)

Offering a terrace and views of the sea, Maderal is set in Mindelo in the Sao Vicente Region. Free private parking is available on site. Some rooms feature a seating area where you can relax. great host & super clean room. There is a nice terras with a nice breeze. good location, city center is 10min walk and the beach is also 10min walk. I was sick during my stay and Filomena made me tea and a 'magic potion'. She was very helpful. Even sick I enjoyed the stay!

Fabulous place to stay in Mindelo. Safe neighborhood and close to the center (10 min walk). The actual property is a room with ensuite bathroom inside a bigger apartment where also family lives on the premises. The kitchen and living room are shared. The room is big, clean and comfortable. Great breakfast included in the price. Also for a modest extra charge it's possible to eat dinner/late lunch with the family. This is highly recommended as the most of Mindelo restaurants are closed during daytime and the restaurant food is mostly mediocre anyway. The homemade dinners are freshly prepared and tasty, excellent value for money. The owner Antonio is very helpful and a great source of local advise and knowledge. Many thanks to the owner for helping me with many practical tasks while in Mindelo, it would take me a lot more time and effort to figure it out by myself. Would not hesitate to stay here again. If you are in Mindelo, look no further.

He was friendly, helpful and showed me around Mindelo. The room, bathroom and kitchen were top quality and I would give it a top ranking. Breakfast was also delicious. This was my favourite place in Cape Verde.
