The host Maricela was the highlight of my stay! She came and picked me up at the airport and was attentive throughout the entire stay. She even took me to the ferry. Her whole family in fact made me feel right at home. The location was great, close to everything but away from the noise and the facilities were clean and comfortable.

We had such a nice room with a balcony and hammocks you could use. It was clean and had mosquito nets. Marine could speak good English which was very helpful for us and her husband and the other lady who worked there were also so nice and friendly. They offer lots of tours which we did three of. We really enjoyed them all, especially the one where we went to Peru and saw sloths!

Everything! Leo and his family are kind and make you feel very welcome. The hotel is right next to the forest so you hear birds and other nature sounds and you can spot monkeys from the hammock. The food was also really delicious and the tours Leo offers were amazing.

My stay was amazing. The lodge is immersed in the Amazon forest. The location was ideal as it is easily accessible by bus from Leticia. Mario and Joana welcomed me and were always around in case I needed anything. Joana helped me organize activities around the Amazon and even helped me plan the rest of my trip to Iquitos. She arranged breakfast earlier than planned when I needed to leave early and prepared a small desert for me when I arrived. I truly felt welcomed and loved my stay at Renase.

Probably the best hostel in the entire Amazon! Not only are the owners and their entire family extremely kind and helpful, the food is also amazing and they are the only place in Macedonia (the village) with uninterrupted electricity and high speed internet thanks to solar panels and Starlink (satellite internet). I got quite a bit of work done during my stay and was also able to relax. The hostel is located at the edge of the village (about 5 min walking from where you arrive by boat), which means that it's very quiet and peaceful.

Caro and her Mum are the kindest, friendliest and nicest hosts we have had on our entire 4 month trip. They could not have done more to make our stay more pleasurable. A great place to stay after four days in the Amazon rainforest! The room has everything that you need. Close to the center and the airport too. The staff was very friendly 🙂

I had a useful and reassuring WhatsApp connection with Wanda before my arrival. I enjoyed my stay in this magic place. I was expecting that already from the pictures. I loved the cats and the dog, all so friendly, and even a chicken. I slept in the hammock, in preparation for the slow boat trip to Manaus. Wanda gave me useful info for it.
