We stayed with our family at Casa Selva in early August. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by Leandro and his dog, Maui. Leandro is a warm host who takes the time to show us every corner of his beautiful house and garden. From the babbling brook to the chickens, and from the lovely rooms to the terraces. The house is centrally located yet just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Abraao. This offers the advantage of tranquility and close proximity to restaurants. Besides Leandro being a wonderful host with many recommendations, I also remember the pleasant conversations. We highly recommend the accommodation if you're staying on Ilha Grande. Situated within 700 metres of Abraao Beach and 600 metres of Sain't Sebastian Church, Suites casa do indio jungle, a melhor vista da floresta features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Abraão. The property has garden views. The rooms have a patio with mountain views. The room is beautifully decorated and the garden is beautiful (loved the garden shower). I didn't meet the hosts but they were always available to answer on WhatsApp. I really enjoyed the fact that there was A/C in the room, and it was turned on before I arrived. There was also a fridge in the room.

Facing the seafront, Casa da Ilha & SPA offers 4-star accommodation in Abraão and has pool with a view, garden and bar. The air-conditioned accommodation is 300 metres from Abraao Beach. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the sea and mountain. This was an exceptional stay! The location was amazing, super close to Abraao by walking to the beach, but also far from the party noises at night. The property itself was beautiful with sea views everywhere. Breakfast was excellent too! It was easy to book transfers and tours through the hotel. Best thing about the location was the boat tours picked us up right at the hotel’s private dock, so we didn’t have to wait in line at the pier with the crowd. We also used their kayak (complimentary) twice and were happy with this amenity. We arrived late the first night and ordered burgers with the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. Rental snorkel gear and minibar items were super reasonable prices, they don’t up charge you for your convenience! Staff were all extremely friendly, helpful, and communicative. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone going to Ilha Grande!

Located in Praia de Araçatiba, La Coquille offers beachfront accommodation a few steps from Aracatiba and provides various facilities, such as a bar and a shared lounge. The property has sea views and is 1.2 km from Araçatibinha Beach and 2.5 km from Longa Beach. The guest house features family rooms. Super clean, amazing staff (especially Diego). Really quiet place and feet in the sand. 10/10 I recommend to everyone wanting to visit Ilha Grande

Situated in Praia de Araçatiba, a few steps from Aracatiba, Pousada Belas Águas features a restaurant, sea views and free WiFi. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The rooms include a patio with mountain views. You can stop looking for pousada in ilha grande, you've just found the best spot! The staff was exceptional, breakfast was great with great juice, amenities for diving, kayaking and outdoor shower were incredible and included. The beach is so close that you can hear the waves during the night. Sidney helped us so much during the stay and we enjoyed so much. When you come here, don't do the same mistake we did, take your boat from Agra Dos Reis and not from Conceinçao de Jacrei or Abraão.

At the homestay, each unit includes bed linen and towels. Esmeralda is a lovely caring hostess. The house is beautiful clean and quiet je breakfast is superb!! Carlos is also very helpful with tips and suggestions. Sleeping and waking up to the bird sound was priceless

Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Absolutely beautiful place. The rooms were nice and cool, protected by the verandah. The rooms were well equipped and the outdoor kitchen had everything we needed. Great place to enjoy home cooked meals with awesome company. The gardens are beautiful, a hidden oasis. There is a waterfall just next to the property where you can go for a dip. The owners, Barbara and Danny (English speaking) are really lovely and super accommodating. Wished we booked to stay for longer as it has by far been the best place we have stayed so far in Brazil - and very well priced!

The hotel is quiet, beautiful and pursues one of the best views of Ilha Grande. I went by boat and it is very close to the blue lagoon and also from Angra.

We went swimming with the turtles every day and ate in some very nice restaurants near by. Highly recommend!
