We had a lovely time at guesthouse mountain, it felt more like a homestay and it was unbelievably charming. It was possible to have food there apart from the breakfast and they were very accommodating to our needs and we were given tips regarding hikes.

Guesthouse is set away from the road so feels closer to nature with chickens, sheep roaming around. Room was very clean, breakfast and dinner (12eur) are plentiful, and the hosts are very kind. I used a wool blanket and did not feel cold at night (early June). I wasn’t sure how to get to the guesthouse but the shuttle driver directed me down the dry river bed, turning right, and then left after 100m and guesthouse should be at the end of the walkway

Lovely stay in a beautiful and calm area at the very end of Valbona and on the way to the Theth-Valbona hike. Amazing host who made our stay comfortable and helped us get to the pharmacy/doctor when needed. The food is delicious, copious and reasonably priced (@ 10€ pp. as of July '25). Definitely recommend if you're looking for a calm and clean stay.

The staff were so friendly and made us feel right at home. The food was amazing—everything was fresh and tasty. Definitely a place I’d come back to and recommend to friends!

The staff were a family that were extremely kind and always helpful and hospitable a loving manifestation of the Albanian spirit of hospitality even without perfect english for the non Albanian speaking people they somehow managed to communicate effectively and leave a lasting impression on most guests i saw there besides me that is an albanian Speaker.As for my experience they made me feel like im actually home and part of the same family and i felt like i was in my own home I will definitely come again.The location is also mesmerizing and excellent located very centrally so you have access to various parts of the village in similar walking distances.
