My family and I were lucky enough to experience the Buffalo trek recently, and it exceeded all of our expectations. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much from the trek, having done similar ones in the past. But from the moment we met our guide, Chili, I knew that this trek was going to be something special. Chili was incredibly knowledgeable about the region, and her enthusiasm for the trek was infectious. She made sure that we were comfortable throughout the trek, and her expertise about the local flora, fauna, history, and customs added an extra layer of depth to the experience. One of the things that really impressed me about the Buffalo Trek was the affordability. The price was already reasonable, but we were lucky enough to take advantage of a big promotion from the host, which made the experience even more accessible. The host went above and beyond to arrange everything for us, from transportation to bike rentals and more. This made the experience so much more enjoyable and stress-free. The trek itself was breathtaking. We traversed through mountains, valleys, and forests, with stunning views at every turn. We encountered a variety of landscapes and terrains, each more beautiful than the last. We stopped at a local village for lunch, where we were able to sample some delicious local cuisine. But the highlight of the trek for me was spending the night in a traditional house deep in the forest. The atmosphere was truly magical, and we enjoyed sharing stories and bonding with our fellow trekkers around the fire. Our host family prepared a delicious meal for us, which was the perfect end to an unforgettable day. In conclusion, I highly recommend the Buffalo Trek to anyone looking for an authentic and affordable adventure in Sapa. The knowledgeable guide, stunning natural landscapes, and opportunity to connect with the local culture all make for an unforgettable experience

We liked everything! The room was modern, clean and spacious. River was so friendly and helpful. Her and the staff at the home stay attended to our every need. They booked tours, organized transport and allowed us the leave our bags after check out. They even offered if we wanted to shower after coming back from a trek before getting our night bus (this was after checkout!). I couldn’t recommend this home stay enough. It is a little outside town (30 min walk) but we did not mind as it is quieter and we didn’t mind the walk or could get a taxi on grab app very cheap. If returning to sapa I would stay here again

Perfect! They replied to all my enquiries, like the feasibility of a credit card payment (yes) in record time which I highly appreciate. My air-conditioned room overlooks the beautiful street which is perfect for the eyes and for the gram haha. The bed's really really comfy with powerful aircond! Saw some comments about the noise from the street but that wasn't the case during my stay. Also, the location's just perfect. It's central with many options for food and walking distance to the lake among others. During check out, the lady owner sent me off with some bottled water and fruits it just made me not wanna leave, really. All in all, a terrific stay that I would highly recommend to everyone!

Sapa Eco Homestay is a real ecologically sensitive and very special homestay that offers a warm and friendly environment located in a peaceful and magnificent nature. It is very close to the main traditional villages of Ta Van and Lao Chai which are the main spots on trekking routes. Located on the hillside and overlooking the valley and these villages, the accommodation has a very sweet environment that takes the tiredness of the whole day. The relaxing music and especially the cinnamon tea they offer completed this serenity. Adding, the rooms has also detailed designed in accordance with the ecology of the valley, details of materials, cleanliness and water usage were very site-specific. We had rented motorbike in each step of our travel in Vietnam which we can suggest as a tip. It provided us to choose special homestays like Sapa Eco. We had enjoyed full-day trips in more authentic sites out of touristic zones and return back to our homestay for evening joy and rest. This experience of us made possible with the help, suggestions and guidance of Sapa Eco staff. It was a great team that was always there for us. We strongly recommend sharing this privileged experience.

If you search something special, it is this place. Don’t go to center if you search nice stay and nature, hiking and culture. We try both 3 days here and 3 days in sa pa in 4 star hotel. Honestly, this homestay is much much much better than everthing in the center. If you want go to center, you can rent motor bike here or just call taxi for 200-250k dongs. One thing in the city is cool and the thing is fansipan. Nothing else to see. The sapa is only turist attraction for vietnamese and chinese tourist. Try to explore south nature here. Villlages, bamboo forest, waterfalls, rice fields. Only good thing about city Sa pa is that you can take out money from ATM bankomat. Nothing else. The staff is very friendly and kind. This is a heaven. So take the money, walk little bit on center and then stay here for couple days. The room was exactly like on pictures, the garden was beautiful. 🔥🔥

This place is just pure happiness and has the best view through the windows of the rooms. We also loved the food and drinks. And they have the best and cutest Dog and Cat ever😍 Big thank you to the great Host, they are the kindest and incredibly helpful people we met !!     This is an authentic home stay experience with very basic facilities. Mama Gia's family are warm and welcoming. Great food for all meals, and a fabulous emersive experience. Discuss with the family, trekking from Sapa Town to the homestay, approx 12km on the more direct route, or longer trek can be organised. Both can include a swim.

    The room had a nice balcony and beautiful view of the paddy fields. The room was simple but had everything we needed for a 1 night stay. Our host Su was very warm and accommodating, helping us to arrange the transport, booking of bus tickets and walking trip to the nearby villages. Group dinner at the homestay was heartwarming and fun. I highly recommend this homestay if you want to get in touch with nature, interact with the locals, understand more about their daily livelihood.

    Exceeded out expectations! We loved staying with De and his family. The location was nicely outside the incredibly packed Sa Pa town. We choose this homestay because of the great hiking reviews. We also did the full day hike with De and it was truly fantastic! We hiked through mountains, rice fields, small villages all day without seeing any other tourists. If you're looking for a great hike and a authentic home stay with great food, this is the place!
