Beautiful room and perfect to explore Ben Tre and the Mekong area. Summer was a great host and provided all necessary information about the area. We ordered the dinner that her family made and it was delicious (vegetarian option available). Would recommend this home stay!

Wow! Location was excellent. Ben, his wife and staff were very welcoming and will make sure to provide everything you need during your stay. Their hospitality is excellent. Staying here, between different types of tropical (fruit) trees and nature will give you a good idea of local living and there is a lot of possibility for relaxation. We rented a scooter from Ben to visit the local town Bến Tre and were the only tourists during this afternoon which was interesting and a lot of fun. One day we also took the day tour to the Mekong Delta offered by the Homestay, which is quite touristic but worth it if you want to see a bit more of the area. During the evening, they can cook local type of foods for you, like Banh Xeo and taste fresh vegetables and fruit from their garden. The small bungalows were clean and modern. Overall this homestay has everything to offer and we would highly recommend! I have some small recommendations for people wanting to visit this area: - We stayed here two nights which I would recommend because it is a little bit isolated. You will enable yourself to explore the area. - This is much better than a day tour from HCMC because you will be able to explore local living. If you have the time. - From HCMC, you can take the Thao Chau from district 5 and they will drop you off at this homestay for an extra 50.000 VND. Our total, one-way, trip was 230.000 or around €9 for two people including this smaller transfer. - Just contact Ben if you need anything, he is the best.

I've been here so many times and have already planned the next two visits. Beautiful gardens, welcoming hosts, great food. There's nothing I don't like here. They can organise trips for you, you can borrow bicycles or motorbikes to explore or you can just relax in the garden. A great place to stay, whether you're looking for a respite from the the chaos of HCMC or whether you're passing through on a tour of Vietnam. it deserves at least a couple of nights to really appreciate it.

Stunning location and a perfect escape from the chaos of Ho Chin Minh where we had come from. The whole property was beautiful and we felt immersed in the garden. The food was very good, portions were huge and reasonably priced. Minh organised a well priced private boat tour for us and a few of the other guests which was fantastic and probably the best tour we have done in Vietnam so far. He also gave us all the details we needed to get to our next destination as booking the bus online was not available. Wi-Fi was decent for anyone planning on remote working. We would definitely stay again and would recommend to others.

Beautifully situated accommodation with individual houses, each with two rooms. Large, comfortable bed with fixed monk net. However, we didn't see a single mosquito in the two days. Very beautiful gardens which you wouldn't expect on arrival. Located directly on an arm of the Mekon. The staff are very friendly, helpful and responsive to guests' wishes. They helped us plan our onward journey. The food is very tasty and freshly prepared. On the first evening, guests are introduced to the culture of cooking and the omlettes are made in collaboration with the kitchen team. We recommend exploring the nearby island on the hotel's bicycles.

Simple accommodation, but a great place to hang out a few days! The family works like … and are so friendly and easy going. They just make you feel cared for. We liked the food, Toi’s stories, the vibes, the views over the river. From HCMC we took the Futa bus. At Ben Tre you need a Grab (7km VND 100) to the ferry. Ferry is every 20-30 minutes. Return, ask Toi to help arrange a taxi or the Futa pickup service to bring you to the bus station. The island is beautiful, tropical and relaxed. Nice to bike or hike the only road. We enjoyed and recommend the Mekong Delta tour (VND 300, depends on the number of people on the tour: make friends). We took scooters (VND 180 autom. 150 manual) to the ‘coconut market’. We had a good time. In the end we were on busy roads to often. Note down the location of the ferry to return without driving all the way to Ben Tre. Highly recommended!!!

I booked 1 night and ended up staying 3. I've loved that place. Very quiet and peaceful. Very friendly staff and dogs. The food was very good too. Coconut candies are the bests.

The mother welcomed us to the homestay. She couldn't speak English, but that didn't matter, we felt sooo welcome and she explained everything very well! She was so warm! The room and the garden were beautiful!

    The best homestay I have been to. Thank you so much for having me. The family are so lovely and welcoming, and it is a perfect spot to sit by the river, relax, see how the local people live. I definitely recommend doing the boat tour. And mum makes amazing food, thank you!

    the host upgrade our room free of charge and he arrange our rooms near each other. he is friendly and helpful, suggested us some place to visit and advise us where should and should not go. There is free bicycle for guests to cycle around the area. The nearest market is about 3KM from the homestay but they will close around 10:00am we went there at 11:00 and there is nothing in the market

    I had a fantastic stay at Nam Ham Luong. The host and staffs were incredibly welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed. The room was clean, comfortable. The location was far from city but it is perfect for someone who love nature,peaceful and quiet.I highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a cozy and hospitable place to stay.     Our kids voted: best homestay ever ;). We had a lovely stay with great hosts. Relaxing garden with bikes, scooters and boat, if you wish to get around. Or just relax at the pool in the beautiful garden full of fruits, which might wander directly to your delicious fruit salad. Thank you Quoc! Also for helping to organize our connecting trip, which played out smoothly.
