very very good location on the beach I lived in an apartment with a balcony and ocean view, a quiet and clean beach, I have been many times in the last 10 years in Zanzibar I also lived on the mainland for a few years, but this seems to me one of the best and cleanest beaches in Zanzibar, truly paradise, this is the third time I have come here, every time I liked the staff and the facilities, it is a value for my money, I will come back, thank you Zanzibar beach escape.

Oh my God, an exceptional place that I have never seen before. Everyone was wonderful and kind to me. Hiland is a wonderful person. She has a sense of responsibility. She welcomes guests and works for their comfort. I cannot find the words to describe my feelings. It is a more than wonderful place, and this will definitely make me come back to it again.

Family room with terrace was excellent. Size wise it was more than we expected. The manager was always helpful. Everyone was super friendly. Food was very good. Thank you Ame for having us.

Absolutely amazing place! Top location, in the heart of Paje, 5 min from the beach and restaurants! Very quiet, cozy, high quality ! Very clean, very big room and bathroom ! Beautiful garden , kind of jungle. You even can have espresso coffee, wich is rare in Paje! Highly recommended!

Our room was very clean, there is a common kitchen and fridge for the guests to use. We did not have air con but in this season you do not need it; we did not use even the fan during the night. The place is very quiet, just a short walk from the beach and the village. Breakfast was included and very tasty (chapati, eggs, guacamole, fruit). Wi FI is available. Very good value for the money 😊

Since I read the book who the owner Dorota wrote, I really wanted to visit Vanilla House. And it was as I imagined, even better!!! The sound of the ocean at night...The breeze.. The food... The view... I loved it!!!!
