First of all we owe a huge thanks to the management of the place, helping us retrieve our camera bag that we left in our taxi after a day trip. You can really count on these guys, that is for sure. The room was spectacular, all the materials used in this formal master bedroom was just marvellous. The ocean beach right in front of the place has the smoothest sand around, spent actual hours walking back and forth after sunset there. The restaurant/bar where we had our breakfast and dinner had the best food that we tried all over Zanzibar. The garden and the pool is regularly cleaned and maintaned as well. The accomodation is decorated very nicely with local accessories and furniture. All in all, we had a great time here :)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kichwa House and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the overall cleanliness and comfort of the room. The WiFi provided by the hotel was excellent. I had no issues connecting and the speed was impressive. I was able to stream my favorite shows and music, the WiFi never let me down. The breakfast was also great. From fresh fruits to eggs with toast, there was something for everyone. However, what truly stood out during my stay was the exceptional service provided by the staff, particularly Mujahidin. He was incredibly friendly, always with a smile on his face, and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. It was a pleasure chatting with him every day. In conclusion, I highly recommend this hotel based on my experience. Plus, it’s affordable compared to the pricy hotels next to it.

Fantastic place, friendly and helpfull staff, nice local interiors, good food. Beach, pool and bar within 15m distance. Highly reccomended, especially when travelling in groups - large familly, friends. We booked a room with a breakfest and dinner option, for lunch and drinks we eat at the beach restaurants - IMO best option.

The owners and service team are wonderful, honest and friendly. As for the surrounding area, it is one of the most beautiful villages on the island, with a beautiful beach, a 1-minute walk away. For anyone reading and wondering what the catch is, there is not a single one. It is right beside The Rock restaurant. Carol is such a kind and caring host and a seasoned traveller that doesn't want to charge an extortionate amount for people to stay. I was so impressed with this house. Nothing short of exceptional.
