I didn't plan to travel Sanyi but prices were just crazy during weekend in Taichung and Puli so i gave a try... and honestly it was worth it. Good and clean hostel with friendly and helpful owner. I recommend a stop here and go hike Huoyanshan mountain .

The host is super nice and helpful. She designed and also decorated the building with collections from traveling around the world. It was great experience staying at her place and chatting with her. Just impressed by everything we were offered. The location was really nice. The room was quiet, spacious and cozy. Auntie offered us free rides to downtown Miaoli so that we could walk around and experience stuff. Breakfast was more than phenomenal. It was all homemade Taiwanese authentic stuff and very fulfilling. Auntie was very welcoming, friendly and hospitable. We would love to come back one more time.
