Thank you to the host for taking care of me. This hostel is located near the airport, making it very convenient to get to. It's clean, comfortable, and has all the amenities you need, including food and drinks that guests can serve themselves. There are also bicycles that guests can borrow to use nearby. The bus stop for the airport is right in front of the hostel, just a few meters away. When coming from the airport, you can get off the bus on the opposite side and cross the street to the hostel. It's also very convenient for getting back to the airport quickly from the bus stop in front of the hostel. The host was kind and helpful, even after I had checked out. Upon arrival, I took a taxi. At check-out, I followed Google Maps' wrong instructions to cross the street and catch the bus on the other side, which was the direction to Taipei. After walking quite a distance, about 1 km, I was having trouble finding the bus stop. The host noticed me and crossed the street to follow me. He told me I was going the wrong way and helped me cross back to the bus stop in front of the hostel. When the bus arrived, he helped me communicate with the driver in Chinese, telling him which terminal I was going to and how much to pay for my baggages. I am impress for the host's assistance.

Clean, comfortable room. We'd booked two nights, but given its remote location and no transportation save for Uber, I asked the owner if we could only stay for one. She agreed.

By far the nicest accommodation we stayed in during our trip to Taiwan. The historical house in a beautiful part of Daxi has been lovingly and thoughtfully modernised by the hosts. Wonderfully comfortable in every way. The lovely lady who hosts the home stay is extremely kind and generous. She made sure we had everything we needed and is full of great tips and information about Daxi. Daxi itself is definitely worth a visit - it’s an architecturally beautiful and fascinating place to wander.

This place is truly exceptional: Combines a beautiful view over the mountains, lake and distant ocean with a distinct NZ or UK-feeling of design, a nice romantic Hobbit-garden - and sounds of Nature all around. Good location for relax from city-life, with friends or as single-traveler. The owners were friendly and very helpful, provided a very good veggie dinner and breakfast on request. Located closely to the hiking-areas of XiaoWuLai (Ancient Trees) and other scenic spots.
