We had an amazing experience at Pitaya. Great hosts, polite, friendly and very accomodating. Happy to help with any request you may have. Beautiful garden, great place to relax. Spacious room and very confortable bed. Everything was clean! You need a motorbike but you need it anyway if you want to visit the island. We visited the chocolate Mountains which was great. We ordered dinner every day at their place for a good price and great taste. Very much recommended!

Don’t let the lack of reviews put you off! This place is new and we had a great stay. Good location away from the noise, but only 7 minute walk to the centre. The road is a dirt road, but only a tiny section got muddy when it rained, so very easy to traverse. Also somewhat well lit. The staff were incredibly friendly and so lovely. They’d honestly do anything for you. We were running late for our ferry and they drove us themselves to the port. The room was really clean and the place is new. You also get a bug light in the room, which gives you peace of mind against mosquitoes. You’re also provided a kettle with coffee and some shampoo and body wash. The shower was on the colder side, but the pressure was amazing, best we’ve had so far. You are near local families, so expect some animal noises but it wasn’t too bothersome.

The room was exceptionally clean and the staff were super friendly. The location suited me perfectly as I was doing a course with a diveschool nearby. A short walk from Doljo beach, beautiful place for snorkelling. I have never seen so many starfish before in my life, it really made my trip!

Very clean, the young woman taking care of the hotel is a sweetheart always ready to help, they have a convenience store on site with great prices, they can cook you a simple breakfast at a very good price, motorbike rental, away from traffic noise. We stayed in the family hut just behind the reception, which is a small but perfect little house/cabana with its privated seating room. The shared facilities were spotlessly clean and the communal areas lovely decorated. The staff is very helpful and gave us tips for going to the beach, which is 5 min walk down the road. They also help you with booking tours and have their own scooters for rent. The beach down the road has a fee, 100 PHP/person but i would totally recommend you to go. If you don't want yo pay the fee, you still have the option of going another 5 min by scooter and you will be able to access it for free. There are plenty of food options close by, including the Flaming Bistro Bar, which I totally recommend you to visit
