Bobby is an excellent, caring and friendly host,he picked me up from the bus stop, waiting patiently as traffic held us up. A ride on the back of his motorbike to the hotel was great fun! Room spacious, double and single beds, wardrobe, chair and table, several power points, clothes stand. Directly outside the room is a wash basin, shower room and toilet next door, plus kitchen with kettle. Each guest is on a seperate floor, so very private. Sat up on the roof terrace in the sun one morning too. Central position, 2 minutes from Durbar Square, plenty of local shops including a supermarket next door to the hotel.

I absolutely loved and appreciated my stay at Mira’s and Sudarsan’s place! After travelling two months around Nepal and coming straight from Lumbini landing in such a clean heaven was a blessing! The house itself is so modern and beautiful, everything is always spotlessly clean and there is always a fantastic smell (jasmine, cleanliness and good food! best smells, no?) I originally booked for one week in the apartment, but i ended up staying two more weeks in another room and when i decided to spend some days away in the mountains, Mira held there some of my things for me so that i could travel lightly. Mira and Sudarsan are lovely people and you can always have good conversations and learn something new about the local culture, i really appreciated that! Around the table at dinner time you can meet people from all over the world. But if you are more of introvert like me, your privacy and alone time will always be highly respected. The wifi always worked great, even on the days when i had many hours of video calls for work, it never glitched. (and i have never experienced a power shortage during my stay!) Hot water is always plenty, and towels and sheets are very, very clean (and smelling good). Rooms are amazing, clean with lovely light coming in. The food is always good, healthy and fresh; i fell in love with Mira’s pumpkin soup. I am definetly going to miss it. The surrounding area is very calm, away from the hustle, and very peaceful. In a 30 min walk you can reach an area full of beautiful monasteries, and by following along the road you will then reach the monkey temple. I have enjoyed my stay so much and i will definitely come back on my next trip to Nepal. Thank you again, and so much love to all of you and lovely dog Lucky!

The place is magic! I loved to hear the nuns pujas in the early morning and afternoons, and I have the opportunity to attend it in the morning of my departure at 5 am. I also enjoyed the healthy and abundant breakfast, it changed everyday and it was always delicious. For a small extra fee, I joined the nuns for dinner, the food was vegetarian and also yummy, but the best was talking to the young nuns (as young as 5 years old) and eating together. The staff is fantastic, they are helpful and gave me great recommendations for places to visit. They have trusted taxi drivers and they negotiate the rate before hand. I also used their airport transfer on arrival, it was perfect.

The owner and the staff were incredibly helpful and very welcoming. They were always ready to answer questions and give directions and even recommended a good restaurant and timing for momo. The owner also helped me to book the tourist bus without charging any commission. The room was simple but very clean and well-maintained. I love my short stay here. I will definitely reserve a stay here if I ever visit Kathmandu again.

    The homestay is located in a very nice residential area, fully served. The room was big and the view over the mountains was stunning! The place also has a lovely rooftop where we had a beer with view 🙂 The very plus of the stay is absolutely the kindness of the host family ♥️, smiling, kind and always helpful with local advices about where to go and where to eat. They also managed to give us special trekking advices. We are definitely going to come back, as soon as we will be in Kathmandu again to catch up our flight.

    I had an amazing stay at Bipanas Homestay.Which is located at Raniban Kathmandu ,just 3-4 km from Thamel.Very clean and comfortable room as well as quit also, Homestay owner Mr Arjun is very friendly and help me to order a Pathao taxi for Airport.They cooked delicious local food and invite me to join with them.I felt like home with warm welcome from them which you feel real nepalese hospitality.Sepcial thanks to Mr Arjun and his family for your warm hospitality.I would definitely come back again.

    Amazing homestay. We stayed a week and we will be coming back. If you want to get out of Thamel it's the place to be. Locals shop, local food. The family are super nice, really attentive. We felt like we are home every time we arrived back. I recommend 100%.
