I had a truly wonderful stay at this Kattel homestay. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Everything was perfectly maintained, clean, and comfortable. The surroundings were peaceful, creating the ideal setting for a relaxing day. This is an incredible place to stay! I have been fortunate to travel to many places over the years and this is one of the most genuine experiences I have had. It is based in a local area, a lot more calm than busy Thamel and gives you more insight into how local people in Kathmandu live. You can walk into Thamel or can get a taxi/bike easily with the inDrive app. The rooms are comfortable, there is very good wifi and there is an incredible view from the rooftop. Nir and his family will really look after you, but at the same time give you as much space as you need to do your own thing. They will make it feel like your home where you can relax and whatever you do, try their meals in their kitchen…..you will not regret it! I thoroughly recommend a stay at peace homestay.

We stayed at Shine Homestay as a group of 16 people, and everything was simply wonderful. Rabina and her family made us feel truly at home: their kindness, calm energy, and attention to detail created a peaceful haven in the middle of Kathmandu’s lively chaos. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the rooftop offered a lovely space to relax, and breakfast was fresh and generous. Communication with Rabina was always easy and warm, both before and during our stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic hospitality and genuine connection with local life.
