We had two wonderfull nights at Harmoni Homestay. One before we went to Tioman and one when we came back. Room is clean and bed very comfortable. All is new because they recently opened. The fan is silent and there are windows you can open in the evening to let fresh cooler air in. The family is so nice! They made breakfast, drove us to and from the ferry (20min walk but in this climate the ride was a very welcome gift) AND made a lunch for our long busride back to KL ! Really nice hosts, perfect stay on your way to Tioman island!

There seems to be not many good options in Mersing. We found Koh’s place which seems to be a rather new option and we haven’t been disappointed! Koh is a fantastic host that makes sure you get everything we need. Communication was smooth over WhatsApp. The room is furnished with a lot of amenities (soap, shampoo, water, snacks, tooth brushes, razors etc…) Very good value for money

The room is clean. Also provided enough towels and water bottles. The service of Mandy is excellent. She keep on following before check in and also after checked in. She help us to contact some local agent for our island hop in. When the recommended agent is fully booked we went to get some external agent. She also help to verify for genuine of the agent to avoid any scams. When we back from trip she met us downstairs and asked for how is the trip etc.

Mersing Maple Villa is in a good location, accessible, clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The owner and his mother made me feel very welcome. The room I had was spacious and cool. It was the perfect place to stay overnight before catching the ferry to Pulau Tioman the next day. This guest house would also be ideal for a longer stay, of 2 or 3 nights, as well. There are quite a lot of island hopping day trips to do out of Mersing, and Maple Villa would be an ideal base. I highly recommend this accommodation, one of the best I've stayed in.

The house is old but very clean and the beds are comfy..The owner is very responsive. The price is fair for what you get…Mersing jetty is about 10 minutes by car.
