It was amazing. The host was superb, helpful and nice. Place is brand new and very clean. House is in perfect location close to restaurants and shops andl near the archeological site. You can rent bicycles on site what makes the sightseeing much more easier. I highly recommend this place.

Absolutely amazing hotel, very clean and spacious rooms, perfect location (5 mins from ticket office, 15 from polonnaruwa sacred city entrance), friendly stuff and hotel owner. Lovely setting overlooking the rice fields. Short walk to the ticket office and archeological park entrance. The owners were lovely and cooked a beautiful dinner for us (vegetarian curry with rice). The room was very clean and spacious enough for two adults and kids. Monkeys jumping about were a bonus for our toddler !

Room is very big, with comfortable beds. Very quiet location. Hot water works very well, there is even a toothpaste. WiFi works very well. We had no mosquitoes. To the historical part you can cycle by bicycle , there is a path, you don’t have to cycle on the highway. The juices are very tasty.

We loved our stay here. We only had a night which felt like enough for the area but wished we could have stayed longer at their lovely guest house. The couple that run it are so friendly, attentive and we felt right at home. The room was so cosy and tastefully done. We found the bed to be comfortable and really appreciated having a lamp and decorations in the room. The food was so yummy and fresh. We loved the dog Lily as well as the owners. There was just a warm atmosphere and the place felt loved.
