Very quiet and beautiful stay. Spacious room with bathroom and terrace. Friendly and helpful hosts. Very tasty and big homemade dinner (rice and curry). Reasonable price to rent a good bike. Totally recommend to stay and relax. Not far from the old city ( you can go on bike around a lake - very nice ride, also great place to watch sunset and it is just behind the accomodation)

Very nice homestay in Polonnaruwa with a Great local breakfast. We had an AC Room which was very modern and extremely clean. Very affordable accomodation. The Host Aruna is so awesome and welcoming. He offered us bike rental for exploring the ancient City. Very Special Person and a nice Place to stay

Sahan Guest House was an awesome find! The welcome was warm and genuine — I was even greeted with a refreshing welcome drink, which was a great touch after a long trip. The room was super clean, air-conditioned, and really comfortable. WiFi was fast and reliable, which was perfect for planning my day trips and staying connected. The location is perfect — right in the city, close to everything, and just a short ride to the ancient city. Super convenient if you’re exploring the cultural sites nearby. There’s also fast food and other restaurants nearby if you’re craving a quick bite. Honestly, the hospitality here is top-notch. Sahan and the team really care about their guests. I felt safe, relaxed, and very well taken care of. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!🍹🇻🇳

I only had one night here but I loved this place. I was given a welcome drink, the room was spotlessly clean, the shower was fantastic, the TV worked, and the bed and pillow were the most comfortable I've had in Sri Lanka. Amazing value for money.

Incredibly friendly and helpful host and family, with an adorable dog. We rented bikes which was very handy for polonnaruwa, the rooms were great, comfy, with fans and A/C, everything very clean. Rooms had bathrooms as well, which were clean and great! Area was very close to the old town and ancient ruins which felt very authentic (but also they have bikes so you can easily cycle to other areas). And did I mention the hosts were amazing because they were the best. They offered us dinner (which we sadly missed but Mr.punsiri's kitchen around the corner was 10/10) but got a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast.

Everything was very cozy, clean. Was hot water, toilet paper, air conditioning, very very hospitality owners. Best wishes for them! Food was really tasty.
