Great accommodation! It’s brand new, they just opened a few weeks ago. The owners are incredibly friendly and very helpful overall. Breakfast is very nice with a lot of fresh fruit. Great location, very very close to the beach. The room was impeccable, so clean.. spacious and the bed was comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here! They will go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable! Thank you for taking such good care of us!

I'm so happy, that we decided to stay in Talalla and in Mango House. It was the best accommodation during our whole holiday in Sri Lanka. The family is so friendly, helpful and we felt welcome from the first minute. They do everything, that their guests feel good. After arrival we got fresh fruit juices, also my little son. I was travelling alone with a almost 3 year old toddler and that was the only accommodation, who provided him breakfast too. The breakfast was every day different and they cooked the best curry for us. Everything to am extraordinary price. In the neighbourhood are also kids to play. The location is fantastic, very close to the best side of Talalla Beach, the best beach in our journey too. It was just planned as an overnight stay but we extended for 5 nights. If possible, we would have stayed even longer. Many thanks yo this family!

The guest house is in the perfect location, just a couple of minutes to beautiful Talalla beach. The hosts are welcoming and friendly and made a very delicious breakfast and dinner. The room was comfortable and clean and it is great to have a balcony to sit and relax on. Would definitely come back if I was in the area again.

Because we love this place so much we returned for 3 more nights after our yoga-retreat. Immediately we felt like home again. The room has everything we need and is always very clean. The hospitality and awareness of this family is just incredible. Anu remembered our favourite dishes and every day we got a different one for dinner. Same with the breakfast. At the end they even got up in the middle of the night to give us a warm goodbye and a breakfast-parcel that we didn‘t stay hungry at the airport.

The very quiet Gardens, the lovely breakfasts, beautiful empty beach, lovely pool and courteous attentive staff. We had a gorgeous room with an out door,roll top bath. If you're looking for a quiet beach, this will hit the spot. The waves are strong so probably best for confident swimmers though you won't have to be an Olympian! The main house is also gorgeous with an airy colonial vibe. Evening meals can be taken at the beach restaurant over the road ( not a busy road). The place is gated with a 24hour watch for the security minded. Various swings, hammocks and board games dotted around. Peacocks, bee-eaters, monitor lizards and chipmunks abound. Heard a Coppersmith Barbet but didn't see it. Fruit bats fly over at sunset. Heaven!

Definitely the most beautiful guesthouse I had in Sri Lanka !!! (I've been here for 6 weeks so I've seen quite a few !) Everything was perfect! The house is beautiful and brand new with a good taste for decoration. The bedroom was super clean with comfy beds, personal light and lockers in the dorm, the fan is really powerful and reach all the 4 beds. The shared bathroom was also really clean and spacious. The breakfast included was WONDERFUL ! A different breakfast every morning with everything you need to start the day full of energy :) And you can share it with the other guests which was lovely to meet new people :) The guest house is ran by Saroj and his lovely wife who is an excellent cook by the way ! Their 2 kids are really polite and quiet as well as the whole family ! Beautiful and nice people ! The location is perfect, only 10 mins walk from Hiriketiya Beach, Dickwella Beach and the Main Street with plenty of restaurants around. You can also rent a scooter or a Tuk Tuk as they own a rental business. And you have a laundry right in front of the homestay where I did a laundry of white clothes and I got it back like brand new and smelling so good !!!! I really enjoyed my stay at Ayubowan Homestay, the best place for a really fair price. I highly recommend this place if you are staying in Hiriketiya :) Thank you again Saroj and your beautiful family for this wonderful stay ! :)

We liked that place was easy to reach, not very remote but feels very remote - by the small beach with no people around. It was easy to reach some restaurants by foot, so you won't be isolated. Ocean was very laud throughout the night - something to consider if you are a poor sleeper. Facilities are awesome, and pool is best way to cool down after a day of travel or spent at beach. Breakfast was one of the best we had in SriLanka - sweet rottis, srilankan omlette, fruit platter and wonderful coffee. Not to mention the view from breakfast hall. Wifi was poor, so don't come working here, but perfect for that social break and resting!
