Brand new villa. 3 amazing rooms with AC, ceiling fans, mosquito nets and big private bathrooms. Bunty is the most hospitable host in the world. He and his family do all they can to make your vacation best possible. Excellent food. Only 300 meters down to the magnificent Talalla beach, and only a short tuk tuk ride to good surfing beaches.

The Talalla Mango House is a wonderful place to stay. Only 200 m from the beach, it’s a family run very heartful home stay, humble and clean, and they would help you out with any questions you have. Breakfast, lunch, dinner - The food is something else, just amazing. They take you through all the Sri Lankan flavours you can imagine. Fresh fish (the father sometimes goes fishing himself), vegetables and fruit every day. No restaurants needed. Apart from that, you live in the middle of extremely beautiful nature, with palm trees etc. and Sri Lankan biodiversity and animals say hello every day. Hopefully will come back soon.

The fantastic Madame Mani is the owner and manager of Gurugedare Heritage. She welcomes all guests with open arms and you feel welcome and home immediately. International or domestic breakfast is offered. Lunch and dinner are Sri Lankan dishes with local ingredients. This was our first time vacationing on the island of Sri Lanka. I can confidently say that the time we spent in this house left the best impressions. We initially booked this house for a few nights but then extended our stay. The house has its own large area by Sri Lankan standards, beautiful garden with bananas, mangoes and other trees. It is away from the busy road which is a huge positive. You can relax and enjoy nature. Dikwella beach with a very gentle entrance and no big waves is about 10 minutes walk. The house is very clean and cozy. High ceilings, wooden furniture, a lot of small details pleasant to the eye. The room has good furniture and plumbing, there is air conditioning and no problems with hot water and sewage. The host carefully monitors the order in the house. Amila is always ready to give you any help, solve problems, always with a smile and good mood. We learned from him a lot of new and interesting things about the customs in Sri Lanka, the way of life of the islanders, traditions in the family. He never refused us in communication. We additionally bought breakfasts and dinner. They were very tasty and varied. This is real home food, not like in hotels. Amila also has wonderful parents. Evenings spent with this family will always remain in our memory. We would like to say thank you very much for your hospitality and we are sure that we will definitely come back here again.

Fantastic time on superb location with most kind host family. It is situated just at the iconic Dondra Light house, next to the pleasant beach and has its own beach bar with hanging net over the water. Place is not hard to acces. The room is fresh and tasty, bed is comfy. Bathroom is clean, mine (upper apartment) had direct lighthouse view with amazing morning and evening parrot chirps. Room has beach and garden view. Hosts are heartwarmingly nice and will help you with every wish. They have cooked me delicious authentic Srilankan cuisine, breakfasts at the beach bar were unforgettable. Absolutely recommended and I wish I will come again.

    The hospitality of the family who runs this homestay is incredible. We feel so much home and welcomed there, so that we come to this place year after year. We also enjoyed very much the delicious cooking of our host Anu. She makes a superb rice and curry and for breakfast you have a lot of choices. We recommend the srilankan breakfast. The beach is super near and so you can enjoy a very relaxed holiday there.
