A wonderful simple & authentic home stay. The owners (mother & son) were so lovely, friendly and helpful. The tea & cake on arrival were very welcome! It was the perfect overnight stay before doing the 10minute walk to Nanuoya train station the next day. Would highly recommend.

It was such a great time at Ansi Villa! I was given a better room, because at that moment, it was available. Trust me, I a full time traveler, but I was NEVER received with tea and cake at a hotel! Unbelievable! Staff was friendly and smiling, very helpful. The room was nice and clean. The food provided was delicious and the location was just splendid! Go to Ansi Vila, guys!

I loved the place mostly. It was neat and clean. The rooms were spacious enough. Also, the washroom. There was a kitchen space with all the cutlery sets, a fridge, and a hot water kettle. So, anybody can have a dine-in using those things. Also, there is a spacious balcony with a great city view. We enjoyed sitting there. we had free breakfast. And, the humble owner lady provided us with fresh fruits and English breakfast. that we loved most.

We loved our stay at Shevyhaws, and would love to stay there again. Chaminda and his family are wonderful guests, they could not do enough for you. Breakfast was delicious and had everything from fruit, to toast, jams and omlettes to curry and roti and pancakes. Accommodation is a bit away from town about 2.5 km, but that was not a problem as Chaminda gave us rides to and from town at no cost, whenever we texted him. He recommended a delicious vegetarian restaurant. He organised daytrips with his 4x4 Jeep at very good prices including the Horton plains, and some tea plantations and waterfalls. The Lovers leap with it's beautiful surroundings is 15 mins walking distance from Shevyhaws. Shower wàs hot and powerful and bedroom was spotlessly clean and included warm cosy blankets for the colder nights. Would strongly recommend to anyone considering.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at this beautiful place. The owners are incredibly friendly and thoughtful and have done everything they can to make your stay perfect. Everything was perfect: The entire house is 100% spotless, the breakfast is plentiful and good, the shower is hot! We even had our own little sitting area just outside the room (nice to sit there if it is raining). The owner has a tuk tuk and offer rides at very fair rates. It is easy walking distance to Lover’s Leap waterfall and nice walks around the tea estate, otherwise a walk or tuk tuk ride into the center. If I could give this a higher rating I would!

Had a perfect stay at RC AWKWARD.The room is clean and quiet，and the host is nice.One day I went back to my room at around 11pm，the host was still waiting for me.The food（both the breakfast and the dinner）tastes good，which was made by the sister of the host，who is also a kind person.Miss the day there，hope one day I'll be back in Nuwara Eliya and sing again with the host.

The breakfast was fantastic, very well presented,locally sourced fresh fruits every morning. Great value for money. All food was excellent and staff also so helpful and kind.the room was excellent and bed very comfortably and clean. Top class location and lots to do in the area.the owner of the property gave us some valuable information about local interesting sites in the areas definitely worth a visit.we hope to come back next year to the edgeware Inn neweralia. Can't fault anything top class all round.well done guys.
