Dhammika and his family were wonderful hosts. The room was lovely and spacious, clean, well lit and modern. The hot shower was amazing! Balcony views overlook rice fields with the sound of stream running and birds. Food was DELICIOUS - we especially loved the hoppers, mushroom curry, pumpkin curry and green/coconut salad - the best food we have had in Sri Lanka! We stayed 3 nights and were sad to leave. Highly recommend :)

It was the best homestay in Sri Lanka! - Good location - very close to the railway station - Very clean - New, clean and comfortable bathroom - Kind owner - And the best thing - it has a kitchen so you can prepare breakfast and tea/ coffee. We cannot recommend this place enough Super clean and comfy room, beautiful view from the balcony (especially at sunrise). There is a lovely walk through some sunny tea plantations just behind the property too. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming. The food is incredible and they serve large amounts of it. Saman also cleaned the mats from our tuk tuk before we headed off. If we weren't on a tight schedule we would definitely have extended our stay. Beautiful location, amazing hosts and a stay we won't forget.

The room cleanliness and the bed comfort with clean sheets. All rooms have balconies with sitting area and mountains view. All rooms have a private bathroom and shower with water heater. The gentleman and his wife working there were very kind and helpful and will facilitate your stay. The food portions they served are enough for at least 2 people. The morning herbal soup is refreshing, and the dhal curry is the tasties I've ever had. Mostly, I enjoyed the view of the mountains and the tea gardens with the birds chirping in the morning. No room has AC, but you can always open the balconies doors and let the cold, fresh breeze circulate in. Temperature at night reaches 15 deg C.

Everything was the best! Perfect, nice and clean accommodation with wonderfull view to garden full of flowers and to nice landscape. You can eat and rest on the balcony. The breakfast and dinner were really delicious and big. Owners of homestay are nice, kind and polite people. If you have to decide where to stay, this is really the best place in Sri Lanka.

We stayed for three nights at trinish homestay and absolutely loved it! The owner is super friendly and so helpful. He picked us up from the train station and had dinner ready for us. The food was amazing. He took us to Adam’s Peak / Sri Padaya and waited there for us while we were hiking for 5 hours. The room is a bit old and damp but would 10 out of 10 recommend 😍

My friend and I are really grateful to have met this lovely family and to have stayed in their beautiful home! If it was possible, we would rate this homestay 1000/10. The rooms are clean and offer a stunning view. Further all the facilities are super good & the owner even organised a scooter for us. However, nothing tops the generous breakfast! We also highly recommend to eat dinner at this homestay, it has been the best we‘ve eaten so far in Sri Lanka. We will definitely remember this special place!!

Saman and Semila were great hosts! The location is very convenient- you could walk to the tea plantations within minutes and Saman arranged a TukTuk for us to do part of the Pekoe trail. We got tea and cookies when we arrived and the breakfast (with a beautiful view and sunrise from the terrace) and dinner were just amazing!
