It was our very first night in Sri Lanka. As we arrived late, we just slipped into our beautiful and comfortable bed in the bedroom surrounded by antic furniture. Tomorrow morning we were just amazed by the garden's mango, jackfruit, coconut, beatiful flowers, peacocks in the tree. The host led us through their garden before the large and delicious home-made breakfast.

Had a lovely 2 night stay here. The family is really carrying that you are feeling good. The room was spacious and very clean. There is a small shop downstairs too that sells snacks and water. Totally recommended.

Saman and his family are amazing, it’s a beautiful place in front of the beach. They are so welcoming, treating us with candor, the room is so clean! The breakfast is delicious and big!! At night you sleep with the noise of the waves, during the day you can relax seeing the sea just in front of your room. The place is just 7’ away by car from the fort and the old city. We totally recommend to stay in this place!!

Indika, his wife and his crew made our stay with their friendliness and professional attitude unforgettable. We loved our room upstairs with a full view over the thundering ocean, the waves our lullaby. As we were there at the beginning of the rainy season, the sea took the beach, but only a few metres away was a big sandy beach that was lovely. But the best part was the common area, facing the ocean, where also the locals enjoyed spending time and having a drink. We ate every dinner and breakfast there and the food was fantastic. Thank you very much! Just to be clear, as someone mentioned before, don‘t expect luxury or you will get disappointed. We loved it very much!

Very friendly, welcoming and helpful host. Spacious and spotless clean room and bathroom for a very reasonable price. 3 beds, mosquitonets, fridge, hangers, chairs, tables. Kettle, cutlery, sink... About 2 km from the Fort in a quiet area (little traffic at daytime on road next to house, at night I didn't hear anything). Good temperature / not too hot. Good wifi. Good waterpressure. Delicious rice and curry for dinner.
